C9 Petroleum Resin

Introduction:

C9 petroleum resin is a C9 fraction from by-product of petroleum cracking process, by a procedure of process, polymerization, and distillation. It is not a high polymer but a low polymer with molecular weight between 300-3000. It has low acid value, good compatibility, water proof, ethanol-tolerable and chemical-proof; it also has properties of chemical-stabilizing to acid-base, thermostatic and viscosity regulation. Normally C9 petroleum resin will not be used alone, but always used as an accelerant or as a modifier jointly with other resins.

Product Purpose:

A、Paints: majorly utilizing C9 petroleum resin with high softening point. Paints can be much polishing and upgraded of its adhesiveness, hardness, acid-tolerant and alkali resistance when mixed with petroleum resin.
B、Tyres and rubbers: majorly used for C9 petroleum resin with low softening point. This sort of resin has a perfect inter-solubility with natural rubber granular, exerting few effect on rubber sulfidation process. Tyres and rubbers will be strengthened with stickiness and softening.
C、Adhesives: C9 petroleum resin has a perfect viscosity, which could be added in adhesives and pressure sensitive tapes that will be well strengthened with multiple properties including viscosity, acid resistance, alkali resistance and water proof, and it could decrease the cost effectively.
D、Printing ink: majorly utilize the petroleum resin with high softening point. Printing ink will be quick-drying, much brightening and upgraded of printing performance when mixed with petroleum resin.
